Bergen County Zoo Website
Web Design, Fall 2022
This project was made in Figma and was a redesign of the Bergen County Zoo Website. It was important to target all of the main actions that different demographics would use the website for. This includes people who wish to purchase tickets, educators planning field trips, and members looking for member events and benefits. The brand and design is meant to feel bright and playful to create a family friendly style that appeals to adults and children.

USER 1: Sharon is a mom of three who is trying to plan a fun family outing. She is hoping for clear directions, easy programs, and a nice day to keep the kids entertained.
NEEDS: Easy directions; family discount offers; upcoming Events; special Programs; food options; accessibility options
USER TASK: To find a map that Sharon can look at to plan out her day with her kids at the zoo.

USER 2: John is a local who has visited the zoo throughout his whole life and is now a FOB member. He enjoys the history and tradition of the zoo, and he enjoys going to all their special events.
NEEDS: Have easy access to member benefits; to be up to date on any special events or specific zoo days; to know zoo hours
USER TASK: To log into the member portal and check on rewards/membership plan

USER 2: Barbara is a grade school teacher who is trying to plan a field trip for her students. She is looking for something that will be fun but also has important educational elements.
NEEDS: Quickly plan a field trip for a large group of people; clear directions and discounts; easy to navigate educational programs
USER TASK: To find animal information resources for her students to prepare for field trip
